Historique :	Les ornementations peintes et dorées ont été découvertes lorsque la cloche a été déposée au moment du réaménagement intérieur du clocher en 1973. Trois lignes d'inscriptions ont été volontairement limées sur la couronne. Il pourrait s'agir de la cloche du temple protestant de Castres, détruit en 1684.
